Join us as we spend a weekend stay at Millerton Lake completing some helpful work to make this planet a little greener. From planting trees to picking up trash or cleaning the trails, this weekend is all about our green mom that gives us a home. This Earth Day will be the most rewarding yet. Meals will be provided to get your energy levels up and to give a helping hand. 

Registration is open for Troop and families. Troops are responsible for meeting chaperone ratios. This is not a drop-off event, girls should camp with their Troops or families.

 

Please purchase one ticket for each family member in attendance. 

  • A Girl Non-member ticket should be purchased for youth family members 
  • An Adult Non-member ticket should be purchased for adult family members that are not registered members of Girl Scouts.
  • Infants and toddlers under 3 are free.

Families should plan on checking in by 5 pm to allow time for set up before the event begins at 7 pm. Families are encouraged to bring a wagon or something to transport their equipment to their individual sites. However, there will be parking by the campsite.

Clean-up and site takedown is the responsibility of the Troop/ family and should be done in time for check-out at 11 am. 

Troops can use the grills at the park to cook. First come, first serve.

Troops and families are encouraged to decorate their areas. There will be prizes for the best tent/area set-up.

 

Family/Troop Responsibilities: All camping equipment and supplies, and transportation to and from the event.

If your Girl Scout or family needs a tent please contact Customer Care. We have approximately 10 tents that can be provided.

 

Provided by GSCCS: A tent campsite, grills at the park, breakfast-lunch-dinner-dessert on Saturday, all activities and crafts, event patch and campfire Saturday night. 

 

No RV's or pets allowed onsite.

Event Policies

 

Cancellation/Refund: Transfers, cancellations, or refund requests must be made in writing to customercare@girlscoutsccs.org 30 days before the event's registration deadline. There are no refunds after the deadline or closing date of the event. Dates shown in the cancellation policy below are strictly to allow staff the ability to process cancellations for all events, year-round and are not specific to this event. Please see the registration end date to determine the cancellation deadline for this event.

 

Program Credits: Choose Program Credits as the payment method to redeem Cookie Dough/Nut Bucks/Renewal Program Credits. Registration will not be finalized until Program Credits have been approved by staff and the Cookie Dough and Nut Bucks Form has been submitted https://www.cognitoforms.com/GirlScoutsOfCentralCaliforniaSouth/onlineregistrationdigitalcookiedoughnutbuckspaymentform. When using program credits at checkout, please allow 2-3 days for approval. Events and activities do sell out quickly, so it is recommended that members register early and redeem physical Cookie Dough or Nut Bucks.

 

Special Circumstances: GSCCS is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for attendees that may have special circumstances or needs that may require alternative planning. Attendees with a special circumstance should include the accommodation need in the box labeled "Special Circumstances," for our staff to review. Additionally, any dietary needs should be included in the "Dietary Restrictions" box.
